TERMS OF SERVICE

By scheduling, requesting, or accepting services from Mathis Home Improvements, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before work begins.

1.  Services Provided

Mathis Home Improvements provides residential and commercial home improvement services including, but not limited to, repairs, renovations, installations, and maintenance. Specific services will be outlined in your estimate or work order prior to the start of any job.

2.  Estimates & Quotes

All estimates are provided in good faith based on visible conditions at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary if additional work is required due to unforeseen conditions discovered during the project. You will be notified before any additional work is performed.

3.  Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

  • A deposit may be required for large or multi-phase projects.

  • Invoices not paid within 30 days may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month.

4.  Scheduling & Cancellations

We ask for at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Missed appointments without notice may result in a service call fee. We will make every reasonable effort to arrive within the scheduled window and will notify you of any delays.

5.  Warranty on Workmanship

Mathis Home Improvements warrants all labor and workmanship for a period stated in contract from the date of completion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party modifications. Manufacturer warranties on materials and parts are separate and passed through to the customer.

6.  Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide safe access to the work area for our team.

  • Secure or remove pets, valuables, and fragile items near the work area.

  • Ensure someone 18 or older is present or reachable during the job.

  • Notify us of any known hazards (asbestos, mold, electrical issues, etc.).

7.  Liability Limitation

Mathis Home Improvements carries general liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, damage caused by hidden or unknown site conditions, or consequential damages.

8.  Privacy & Communication

Information collected through your Jobber account or our website is used only to schedule and manage your services. We do not sell your personal information. You may receive appointment reminders, invoices, and follow-up messages via email or text through the Jobber platform.

9.  Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we ask that you contact us directly first so we can work toward a resolution. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
